FRANK ZAPPA Hot Rats (1969 US first issue 6-track vinyl LP on the grooved turquoise Bizarre label; the FZ's second solo outing set to a jazz-fusion twinged, progressive tone comprised entirely of instrumental pieces with the exception of 'Willie The Pimp' starring Captain Beefheart delivering the song's lyric in the way only The Captain could, also including the popular Peaches En Regalia and featuring Jean-Luc Ponty on violin duties for 'It Must Be a Camel', Cal Schenkel designedinternal pasted gatefold picture sleeve with Frank picture inner with no 'Zapped' coupon, possibly due to export reasons. The sleeve shows light wear with a little ringwear visible and edge scuffing with no splits or deletion cuts; there is a small seam split to the inner, whilst the vinyl has just a few faint paper hairline scuffs and shows little evidence of play - a great copy!
