PINK FLOYD The Dark Side Of The Moon (50th Anniversary Edition 2025 UK/EU 10-track LP remastered in 2023 for this special anniversary release and pressed on 180-gram heavyweight black vinyl. One of the most iconic and influentialalbums ever made, The Dark Side Of The Moon remains a defining statement in rock history. Originally released in March 1973, Pink Floyd's eighth studio album was partly developed in live performance before being recorded at EMI Studios(now Abbey Road Studios) in London. The album's pioneering sound design, conceptual unity, and timeless songs such as "Time," "Money," and "Us And Them" helped it transcend the era, while Storm Thorgerson's prism-sleeve artwork became one of the most recognisable covers of all time. With over 50 million copies sold worldwide, it continues to resonate across generations. Housed inside a gatefold picture sleeve with replicas of the original poster & sticker inserts, hype sticker and factory sealed. If you still don't own this album you can't go wrong with this edition... highly recommended!)

TRACKLISTING AND EXTRA INFORMATION
One of the most iconic and influential albums ever, Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon continues to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.
The album was partly developed during live performances, and the band premiered an early version of the suite at London's Rainbow Theatre several months before recording began. The Dark Side of the Moon is the eighth studio album by Pink Floyd, originally released in March 1973. The new material was recorded in 1972 and 1973 at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road Studios) in London. The iconic sleeve, which depicts a prism spectrum, was designed by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis and drawn by George Hardie. The Dark Side of the Moon has sold more than 50 million copies worldwide.
Re-released in 2023 as part of The Dark Side Of The Moon 50th Anniversary Box Set, this newly remastered edition of their classic album is now available as a standalone release, remastered by James Guthrie and pressed on 180-gram vinyl, housed inside a replica gatefold picture sleeve with the iconic 'prism' artwork, plus reproductions of the original posters and stickers.

Sony Music Era Overview (Current & Future Releases 2025 -> )
From 2025 onwards, all new and reissued Pink Floyd releases in the UK and EU are issued by Sony Music, following the label's acquisition of the band's recorded-music catalogue in late 2024. This transition marks the end of the Warner Music / Parlophone Records era (2016 - 2024) and means all back catalogue titles-including deluxe editions, CD and vinyl reissues-now appear under Sony's Columbia imprint. Any new pressings or special editions from this point forward will reflect this change in label ownership and distribution. With the catalogue now transferred to Sony, all previous Warner-issued pressings are out of print, enhancing their collectability and marking them as part of a distinct phase in the band's release history.
