CARLA BLEY & PAUL HAINES Escalator Over The Hill (1971 US first press 3-LP box set with the original '1841 Broadway, New York' label address, described as a 'Chronotransduction' recording (!) made between 1968 & 1971 with a large cast of luminaries including John McLaughlin, Don Preston, Linda Ronstadt, Jack Bruce, Paul Jones, Charlie Haden, Gato Barbieri, Paul Motian & more. Comes housed in a pasted gold tinted 12" square box complete with a 36-page illustrated libretto booklet, an ECM brochure, A4 press release & fold-out membership insert. The packaging is Excellent with minimal shelf wear & the vinyl is in Excellent condition with a few minor paper scuffs not affecting play 3LP-EOTH)
