NORMAN GRANZ' Jam Session No. 2 (Scarce 1956 UK two-part mono
LP on the Columbia 'trumpeter' label in the Clef series, recorded on
August 3, 1953 in Hollywood & starring Stan Getz & Wardell Gray
[tenor], Benny Carter &Willie Smith [alto sax], Harry Edison [trumpet],
Freddie Green [guitar], Count Basie [piano], Buddy DeFranco [clarinet],
John Simmons [bass] & Buddy Rich [drums]. Comes housed in a fully
laminated sleeve with scalloped flipbacks & fantastic artwork by David
Stone Martin. The sleeve is Excellent with just a few spots of minor
laminate chips & the heavyweight vinyl is Excellent with very little play in
its life 33CX10021)
