MILES DAVIS Sketches Of Spain (2016 UK/EU limited edition 5-track stereo LP pressed on 180-gram Yellow Vinyl, complete with authentic 'Columbia 6-eye' original label design. This glorious album, originallyreleased in 1960, was the mesmerizing follow-up to Kind of Blue, and remains one of the greatest jazz albums of all time. Picture sleeve replicationg the original cover artwork. The sleeve shows little to no signs of wear and the vinyl appears near mint. Essential!)

The third and final of the great Miles Davis-Gil Evans collaborations of 1957-59 was also their most ambitious. This set finds Davis in the forefront improvising on two numbers associated with Spanish music and three Evans compositions in that idiom. Much of the music is quite dramatic and emotional (notably Saeta) and Davis plays at his best throughout, really stretching the boundaries of jazz.
