SPRIGUNS Jack With A Feather (Very, very rare original
1975 UK 11-track vinyl LP which was pressed in tiny quantities on the
cult Alida Star Recordings label. This debut long player has attained
legendary status in folk & psych circles with its blend of traditional
instrumentation, electric guitar and bass and the haunting voice of
singer / guitarist Mandy Morton. It's a classic progressive folk album
that transcends the genre, wonderful playing throughout with a
distinct acid / wicker folk vibe on key tracks. The thin card picture
sleeve has been autographed by the band in blue pen next to
their respective images on the front [although we think Tom Ling signs
the Chris Russon picture as Chris had left by the time the album was
released] while in the centre there is the unique dedication "To Martin
wot is very good. Luv Spiggles"). See 'more info' for condition

TRACKLISTING AND EXTRA INFORMATION
Sleeve:
The fragile 'Burlington Press' sleeve is graded VG and displays some inevitable discoloration, ringwear and a little scuffing. However, it has survived the ravages of time remarkably well and remains free of rips or tears with the autographs all clearly visible and all text legible.
Vinyl:
The vinyl displays some faint/light paper scuffs/hairlines and is graded a EX- There are some spindle marks to the label on one side. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned and playtesting reveals a fantastic sounding record with no pops/clicks and just the occasional light background noise in the very quietest moments.
