Black and Yellow Parlophone design with "The Gramophone Co Ltd" and "Sold In UK Subject To" text. Absolutely pristine with vivid silver texts.
Matrix Numbers:
The matrix numbers on both sides finish -1 indicating that this copy was among the first pressed -

The Vinyl:
Simply amazing condition, retaining a glorious 'just pressed' shine with nothing to interfere with play or spoil enjoyment.
The Inner:
The red and white psychedelic 'flame' inner has "Made in Great Britain, Patents Applied For" text. It is bright and clean with no splits or even scuffing to the edges.
The Cut-Outs:
Unused in 'as new' condition.
The Sleeve:
The Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is fully laminated with internal flipbacks at the top only. As mentioned it is the wide spined variant. It is in beautiful shape with rich colours, crisp, clean undamaged laminate and secure flipbacks. Edge scuffing and shelfwear are at an absolute minimum. Most importantly the spine has not been crushed as is so often the case with this rarity.
This is a truly remarkable copy of a highly sought after variant and the purchaser would NEVER need to upgrade - an absolute gem!
