JIMMY PAGE & THE BLACK CROWES Live At The Greek (2008 UK limited edition 20-track 3-LP vinyl set - When American rock legends The Black Crowes got together with Led Zeppelin's exceptional guitarist Jimmy Page for six sensational shows in 1999,the American audience, understandably, stood on their heads. The performances in New York City, Los Angeles & Worcester, Massachusetts, delivered by this illustrious line-up of true rock superstars left fans breathless and even experts rejoicedenthusiastically. Together Page & The Black Crowes delivered a number of high-class Led Zeppelin classics, among them 'Celebration Day', 'The Lemon Song', 'Heartbreaker' & 'Whole Lotta Love', as well as numbers that nobody would have expected. The impressive set was rounded off by songs from the regular Black Crowes tracklist along the lines of 'Shake Your Money Maker' or 'Mellow Down Easy' and rock standards like 'Shape Of Things To Come' by the Yardbirds, with whom Jimmy Page played in the mid-Sixties. 'Live At The Greek' is the brilliant recording of the two final shows at the L.A. Amphitheater, Presented in a gatefold sleeve.
