- 50's Volume 1 (1985 UK 14-track vinyl compilation LP which
reflects a time in the late fifties when the pop music charts were
alive with a profusion of 'young love' ballads the echoed the
feelings of the newly emancipated teenage generation. From the
team behind the Old Gold singles series, this collection includes
tracks by The Platters, Debbie Reynolds, Everly Brothers, Connie
Francis, Ritchie Valens and more. The glossy picture sleeve
shows just a little shelfwear to the edges but the vinyl remains in
