MULTI-FORMAT box set - Derek & The Dominos were
the almost fictional group recruited by Eric Clapton which came
together duringthe sessions for George Harrison's 'All Things
Must Pass' album. The band released only one studio album in
1970, 'Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs', which melded an
astounding collection of musical styles - Blues, Folk, R&B & Rock
- into onetimeless package. This Super Deluxe Edition Box
comprises FOUR CDs including the digitally remastered
14-track CD album; a 13-track album of previously unreleased
recordings, live performances & the last ever band recording -
'Got To Get Better In A Little While', presented here as both a
mesmerising jam version & also as the first ever release of the
completed studio version; a newly remastered [from the original
master tapes] & expanded 'In Concert' 2-CD set; a
DVD including stunning DTS 5.1 & Dolby Surround 5.1
mixes of the album, mixed by the legendary engineer Elliot
Scheiner; plus the 14-tracks pressed across a 2-LP
Heavyweight Vinyl Set. Presented in stunning packaging
containing a book featuring a new essay by Ashey Kahn & rare
photos & pictures, a High Quality Layla art print, Derek
& The Dominos badges [including the iconic 'Derek is Eric' slogan
on one], Concert ticket stubs & Pop up 3D artwork, a 12" deluxe
