ELIZA CARTHY & THE WAYWARD BAND Big Machine (2017 UK/EU limited edition 11-track double album 2-LP pressed on 180-gram Heavyweight Vinyl - Pioneering English traditional folk powerhouse, Eliza Carthy, first assembled the Wayward Band in2013 in order to explore and celebrate her long and varied career in folk music. They loved playing together so much it seemed natural and inevitable, as well as characteristically ambitious, that this 12-piece would set about recording an album. Produced by Jim Sutherland, the material on 'Big Machine' represents a healthy slice of everything good that is happening in traditional music now, across a sparkling spectrum of sound; with special guest appearances from Teddy Thompson and Damien Dempsey. With its original Rough Trade store sticker affixed to the back [by the previous owner], the gatefold picture sleeve comes with the printed / picture inners while the two vinyl discs show only light signs of play)
