NED DOHENY Hard Candy (Limited Edition 2021 Japanese-only Tower Records Exclusive 9-track LP pressed on 180gram Clear Vinyl, fully remastered & cut at Sony Music Studios, Tokyo. Originally released in 1976 but criminally overlooked at the time, this stunning blend of blue eyed soul, disco & soft rock [yacht rock] expertly played by a team of crack L.A. session musicians gained a cult following in Japan before being rediscovered in later years by the more discerning DJ. Includes his cosmic Balearic-style classic 'Get It Up For Love' alongside a version of 'Love Of Your Own' that Ned first wrote with the Average White Band, produced by Steve Cropper of Booker T. & the MG's too!
