BILL EVANS (PIANO) Inner Spirit (Record Store Day 2022 US 13-track double album 2-LP pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI, mastered by Bernie Grundman from the original tape reels. Recorded live on September 27th 1979 at the Teatro General San Martin, Buenos Aries, Argentina. Hand-numbered edition deluxe gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve has the start of a seam split on both sides of the top edge but otherwise shows minimal wear with the vinyl remaining in Near Mint. Recommended HLP-9062)

Inner Spirit: The 1979 Concert at the Teatro General San Martín, Buenos Aires is the first official release of pianist Bill Evans with Marc Johnson and Joe LaBarbera captured live at the Teatro General San Martín in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 27, 1979.Remastered from the original tape reels and in cooperation with the Bill Evans Estate, this limited-edition 2-LP set includes an extensive booklet with rare photos from the actual concert; essays by American author, journalist Marc Myers and Argentine author Claudio Parisi (who wrote the book Grandes del jazz internacional en Argentina (1956-1979)); plus new interviews with Marc Johnson, Joe LaBarbera and pianist Enrico Pieranunzi. Mastered by Bernie Grundman and pressed at Record Technology Inc. (RTI). This concert recording is available officially for the very first time and is the companion piece to the Resonance Release, Morning Glory: The 1979 Concert at the Teatro Gran Rex, Buenos Aires with Eddie Gomez and Marty Morell.
