This is Bowie's first-ever album released is in both mono and stereo, with the stereo version much rarer, housed in a back pasted picture sleeve featuring a different picture to UK issue with large promo stamped on rear panel, also includes the original company advertising inner bag. TRACKLISTING AND EXTRA INFORMATION
More Information
The rear cover has printed in the bottom right-hand corner:
"Distributed by LONDON RECORDS, INC.
539 West 25th Street
New York, N.Y. 10001"

The original inner bag advertises four series of London Records releases:
"Mantovani," "Phase 4 Stereo," Teen Beat," and "Popular and International."

The US edition of the album omits two tracks, "We Are The Hungry Men" and "Maid of Bond Street," as opposed to the UK stereo edition David Bowie.

The second track on Side B, both on the back cover and the centre label, is incorrectly listed as "Silly Boy Blues" when it should be "...Blue.". And track 6 on side B, the title, "Please Mr. Gravedigger," is listed as "Please, Mr. Gravedigger" on the label.

This copy has been stamped on the back of the sleeve, 'Promo Copy Not For Sale' in black ink.

This has got the 'Bell Sound' logo stamped in both run-out grooves and '4-20-67' etched on in the B-Side dead wax.

Condition
The sleeve is strictly graded Good. The spine and top edge have been taped where they have both got splits, the bottom edge has some minor wear, and the front has some heavy ringwear. The mostly white back also has some ringwear and general signs of age, a red cross in the top left corner and a small spot of paper loss on the Bowie image.

Both the labels are very clean with just a couple of spindle marks to show it has been played only a few times, the vinyl is Excellent and very clean with just a few very light signs of play.

Although far from Mint, this is still a really nice example and the first we have ever seen.
