THE GRAHAM BOND ORGANISATION The Sound Of 65 (1965 UK first press 14-track mono LP on the blue & black Columbia label, the astounding debut from Bond, Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker & Dick Heckstall-Smith, offering an innovative fusion of R&B, blues, jazz & showcasing the outstanding musicianship of the quartet, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The cover [VG+] has some ring wear creasing with the odd spot of tiny paper loss to a corner or two. The back panel remains sharp with nowriting & just minor age wear. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & grades VG. There are some spindle marks by the centre hole & a degree of paper scuffing both sides, with several paper hairline marks. Playback remains superb on a mono setting due to the quality of British vinyl from this period, although some light background surface is apparent in the quieter sections. A very serviceable example & the sound of '65! 33SX1711)
