The Folk duo of Phil Ridgway and Jeff Vinter, who both played in The Gas [an experimental psychedelic band heavily influenced by Barrett-era Pink Floyd] with influences expanding to include bands & artists such as Peter Hammill, Strawbs, Traffic, Procol Harum, Stackridge, Keith Tippett & Bert Jansch.
This collection of very English songs had evocative, literate lyrics with a stunning progressive folk-rock sound, including 'When The Madcap Meets The World', one of the earliest known tributes to Syd Barrett.
