Martin Simpson joins forces with Andy Cutting and Tom A.Wright on one side of thisdouble-A sided vinyl-only release for a storming, accordion-led version of the classic Booker T and the MGs cut, Green Onions. On the other side, he is reunited with Andy Cutting and Nancy Kerr as Simpson-Cutting-Kerr, the lauded folk supergroup whose 'Murmurs' album was one of the musical highlights of 2015. They perform 'Willie Taylor', an Anglo-American folk standard in which a young woman disguises herself as a man in order to follow her lover to sea after he is pressed into service.
