MICHAEL NYMAN The Nyman / Greenaway Soundtracks (Factory Sealed UK original 1989 limited edition 4 x Compact Disc box set, bringing together in a single box the soundtracks for the four feature films that Peter Greenaway & Michael Nyman worked on between 1982 and 1989. The CDs feature the soundtracks to The Draughtsman’s Contract, A Zed & Two Noughts, Drowning by Numbers, and The Cook The Thief His Wife & Her Lover. The music’s exuberance & energy is infectious, far beyond the normal confines of just 'film score'. The CDs and accompanying large format 6-page booklet are housed inside a square, textured black box with debossed gold-foil lettering. This is brand new original stock from a recent warehouse find, factory sealed and untouched for the past 35 years! A fantastic collection from this provocative collaboration. Recommended)
