MILES DAVIS & THE MODERN JAZZ GIANTS Bags' Groove (Rare
1959 UK Esquire issue of the classic 1954 7-track mono LP
with flat edge & 'RVG' stamper, starring the modern jazz
giants Sonny Rollins, Milt Jackson, Thelonious Monk, Horace
Silver, Percy Heath & Kenny Clarke. The front laminated
flipback sleeve is a design variant to the US Prestige issue &
is nice & clean with no writing & just a few faint signs of age
[bottom flipback has loosened in the middle]. The
heavyweight vinyl hasbeen professionally cleaned & plays
through superbly, with a 'VG' grading due to a scratch during
Bags' Groove Part 1&2 causing a few light clicks on rotation. A
nice, if not mint, example of this Miles rarity)
