TRACKLISTING AND EXTRA INFORMATION
The labels are matt black with Parlophone in bright yellow text, all other text is in silver.

The perimeter text states "The Gramophone Co Ltd" with "Sold In The UK Subject To Resale" text across the centre of the label.

The label has an 'MT' tax code embossed on the Side 2 label. What makes this intriguing is that the MT tax code was valid from January 1st 1963 until the later KT code came into force in July 1st 1963, whilst this title was first released on 3rd December 1965.

To add to the unique nature of this pressing, the Side 1 label is depressed with a ridge starting 3mm from the edge of the label and extending 3mm until levelling off with the centre lower than the rest of the disc. The Side 2 label is the more familiar flat variant. This ridge is most likely due to earlier presses being used.

The Matrices end -4.

'Use Emitex' Inner & Ernest J. Day sleeve front laminated flipback picture sleeve.

Condition:

The sleeve shows moderate creasing to the front with a pinpoint of paper loss to the 'U' in 'Rubber'. There is corner rubbing and general wear & light discolouration to the reverse with no splits or tears leaving it VG. The text to the flipback indicates that it was printed by Ernest J. Day in December 1965 as evidenced by the '6512' code.

The vinyl shows scuffs and the odd hairline here or there, which thanks to the robust 1960s pressings have limited impact on play leaving it VG/VG-.

A nice copy of this very rare variant.
