ART GARFUNKEL Angel Clare - Paper Sleeve Collection (2012 Japanese exclusive limited edition remastered Eight Blu-Spec CD [an audio CD format using Blu-Ray technology, playable on all CD players], Seven Album set, including the albums Angel Clare, Breakaway, Watermark, Fate for Breakfast, Scissors Cut and Lefty. Each within their own mini LP-style card wallet picture sleeve, replicating the original LP release, with a fold-out Japanese/English lyric sheet and obi-strip. As an added bonus, we are also including a copy of 'The Singer Art Garfunkel' 2-CD set in a thin double case with obi-strip - consecutive catalogue numbers with this bonus addition releases before the paper sleeve reissues. All housed in the rare hard to find picture card box featuring the artwork for the 'Angel Clare' album. This box was only available to Japanese customs who purchased all the albums from Disk Union at the time of their release, now a very hard and highly collectable item)

Sony Music Entertainment Inc. has used its Blu-ray Disc technology to develop an audio CD [Blu-Spec] with high sound quality. The new discs are built using polymer polycarbonate materials as well as an optimized Blue Laser Beam cutting technology that improves the quality of the laser beam. The applied Blu-ray Disc polycarbonate polymer material introduces less jitter [noise] and thus, high-quality audio reproduction. Blu-Spec CDs conform to the standard audio CD [CDDA/Red Book] format and are compatible with existing CD players.
