Hutchings (1986 UK 33-track LP, a fantastic selection of folk
songs, jigs & dances from early 1900's pioneer & founder of
the folklore revival Cecil Sharp, performed & narrated by
Fairport Convention founder Ashley Hutchings. This recording
features quotes & stories from Cecil by Hutchings as used in
the one man show 'An Evening With' that Hutchings toured
around the UK in 1984, as well as cylinder recordings from
Sharp's back catalogue [which are not be of the best quality
as they date back to the early 1900's]. On this record
Hutchings also ropes in some help from his friends & fellow
folk musicians Martin Carthy, Richard Thompson & Dave
Whetstone. The picture sleeve shows minimal wear, the vinyl
