heavyweight mono LP on a rough textured black & silver label
exported to Holland, originally released in 1954. Features
Ellington & his Orchestra [including Billy Strayhorn] recorded
in 1951-52, presenting a programme of full-length concert
arrangements of some of their most popular numbers.
Includes the original recording of Louie Bellson's 'Skin Deep'.
The pasted laminate picture sleeve shows just a spot of light
corner scuffing & the vinyl appears near mint BBL7443)
