Getaway (Rare test pressing for the 1971 UK 10-track vinyl
LP, made by members of Canned Heat [Joel Scott], Flying
Burrito Brothers [Chris Etheridge] and The Turtles [John
Barbata] with guestspots from Dr.John, Leon Russell, Booker
T and Priscilla Jones, Spooner Oldham, John Sebastian,
Sneaky Pete Kleinow...phew!! This test pressing has K40310 &
A1/B1 matrices stamped into the dead wax to indicate this is
the first pressing, plaincard sleeve and white labels with
hand-written artist name. Pressed in tiny numbers purely to
test the sonics & never intended for sale to the public, this
disc was stored by an industry worker and has been carefully
archived since it was pressed, leaving the labels beautifully
clean and the vinyl showing barely any sign of play K40310)
