MILES DAVIS On The Corner (1972 UK first press 4-track stereo LP on the plain orange label with A1/B1 matrices, drawing in influences from Indian & African music to James Brown & even Stockhausen! On The Corner features outrageous mixing techniques, heavybass grooves, wah wah, breaks, sitar, tape edits, courtesy of the masterful Teo Macero, & much more. Black Satin in particular is especially ahead of the game, & everyone from 23 Skidoo & Material in the eighties &Photek & Plug in the nineties drew influence from this incredible record, gatefold pocket sleeve featuring the beautiful Corky McCoy cover painting. The sleeve on this copy shows just very light shelf/ring wear whilst the viny is in beautiful condition. Recommended)
