S-S SPUTNIK Flaunt It (2020 UK Expanded Edition 40-track 4-CD set, a remastered and greatly expanded reissue of the iconic 1986 debut album from the flamboyant electro-punk outfit created by Generation X’s Tony James. Famous for its futuristicimage, bold marketing and commercial jingles woven between tracks, Flaunt It remains one of the most unique and daring records of the ‘80s. This comprehensive collection brings together the original album along with a wealth of bonus material,including extended 12" mixes, B-sides, rare single edits and unreleased tracks, providing the definitive document of the band’s breakthrough era. Each disc is housed in its own individual card picture sleeve, with all four held together in a sturdy slipcase, complete with the original-style 24-page booklet, featuring an in-depth essay, liner notes, track annotations and rare photos. The outer slipcase shows only the lightest signs of shelfwear, whilst the sleeves and booklet remain in Excellent condition. The discs themselves appear barely played, retaining a Near Mint grading. A superbly presented set and an essential acquisition for fans of the band and collectors of ‘80s new wave and electronic pop)
