THE SHAMEN Phorward (1989 UK/Scottish limited edition 6 track 10"
vinyl mini LP, also including You Me And Everything. The 7" white label
was free with their Phorward 10" LP and identifiable only by matrices
and a sticker on the LP cover. Different versions to SOMA 4, these
were originally recorded for an advertising campaign for Scottish &
Newcastle breweries [hence the title]: however, S&N (major
Conservative party donors) then heard the band's song Shitting On
Britain [referringto Mrs. Thatcher] and pulled the deal! SOMALP3)
