Deep, rural acoustic blues from the Carolina native who\r\nafter cutting several discs in the '50s drifted into obscurity,\r\n  he was rediscovered by blues historian Pete Welding [playing\r\n  music from his ice cream van's PA system - hence the Softee\r\n  Man Blues title - we are not makiing this up!] before recording\r\n  this wonderful selection of blues standards.
