2ND VISION First Steps (One-off Test Pressing for the 1980 UK 9-track LP, produced by John Cameron & featuring ex-Soft Machine Ric Sanders & John Etheridge, ex-Gryphon Jonathan Davie, keyboard player Dave Bristow & drummer Mickey Barker, a mighty fine album that sadly disappeared from view at the time but is now fast becoming the collectors record it deserves to be. The labels are numbered '1' & '2' in custom black on white & the matrix detail is machine stamped in the run-outs "CHR1289 A/1 & B/1". Obtained from the private collection of an ex-PR man for Chrysalis, these were pressed in a miniscule run purely to test the sonics & never intended for sale to the general public. The vinyl is near mint CHR1289)
