CHARLES MINGUS Music Written For Monterey 1965, Not Heard, Played In Its Entirety At UCLA (Scare limited edition 1984 US 2-LP mono issue of the 1966 mail-order only 9-track live album with a bonus 7" vinyl record, with parts 1 & 2 of 'They Trespass The Land Of The Sacred Sioux'; exclusive to this reissue. Housed in a numbered and gold import stickered heavy card gatefold picture sleeve with the inside spread containing extensive liner notes, aswell as scans of Charles' rough draftof his original liner notes and a charming comic strip to top it off. Includes an insert explaining the creation of the original pressing. The sleeve shows light wear with its age but nothing too excessive while all three vinyl discs remain in wonderful excellent condition with minimal hairlines on the second disc, none of which impacting play. Overall a very respectable example of this desirable piece of Mingus recording history JWS0013/0014)
