ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Aliens (2015 US strictly limited edition 24-track double album LP, with gatefold picture sleeve and credits insert. Reissue of James Horner's classic soundtrack to the 1986 science fiction action film written & directed byJames Cameron, now pressed two different colour 180-gram vinyl discs: LP One is pressed on Dark Blue 'Queen' Vinyl [visible when held up to light] while LP Two comes on the more obvious Yellow & Black Vinyl. Recorded at London's legendary Abbey Road Studios in April 1986 and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, the score features some of his most complex and modernistic writing, making widespread use of dissonance, aleatoric and extended orchestral techniques and sound design. This pressing was first issued exclusively at San Diego Comic Con 2015. The sleeve shows some very minor wear from storage, but the vinyl itself appears in near mint conditon)
