PINK FLOYD Wish You Were Here (Rare limited edition 1984 UK
Nimbus Records Supercut audiophile pressing of the classic
1975 5-track LP, with 'Nimbus England' machine stamped in the
run-out groove, custom gold stickered picture sleeve, illustrated lyric
inner & serrated edged postcard. This edition was mastered and
pressed exclusively for readers of 'Hi-Fi Today' magazine & available
by mail order only. The sleeve is graded Very Good, purely due to
having a 2.5 inch split at thetop, otherwise displaying little in the way
of other general wear/age, the inner has no splits or rips and again
few signs of storage. Both labels remain very clean with very minimal
signs of spindle marks, whilst the vinyl easily grades as at least
Excellent showing little evidence of use, a fabulous example. With only
1000 copies pressed, this top Floyd rarity is getting increasingly hard
to find, graded only due to the top seam split to the cover, otherwise a
fantastic copy overall SHVL814)

Condition
The sleeve on this copy is very good, showing some discolouration from storage over the years, and has an amount of paper loss on the front which does not effect the striking image of the iconic Storm Thorgerson artwork, and a start of a split on the spine.
The vinyl itself, which is the most important part of the Nimbus Supercut series, displays minimal signs of play, the labels have no marks around the centre spindle hole, and the vinyl iteself has little signs of play.
Although not mint this is still a really nice example of this hard to find pressing.
