BERLIN PHILHARMONIKER conducted by HERBERT VON
KARAJAN Ouverture 1812 / Marche Slave / Romeo und Julia
(1970 German stereo vinyl LP on the 'large tulip' label,
featuring Tchaikovsky's famous festival overture, the '1812',
with his lesser knownRomeo & Juliet Fantasy Overture &
Slavonic March, fully laminated picture sleeve with sleeve
notes in German, English & French. Although the 1812 is
presented here as originally conceived with chorus, bells &
cannon, the extensive notes focusonthe music, not the special
effects. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the
vinyl remains excellent with few signs of play)
