UNCUT test pressing of limited edition shaped picture disc single, featuring the artwork from The Miracle cover art which utilised the Quantel Paintbox, then state of the art image-manipulation technology,to combine photographs of the familiar faces of the four band members into one morphed gestalt image; also including Stealin'. This example shows very little signs of age, the clear uncut area is still clean with no discolouration & no evidence of play)

TRACKLISTING AND EXTRA INFORMATIONMore DetailsUncut picture discs are generally used as 'test pressings', a few are always made to check the image alignment and print quality before the final run is cut to the desired shape and remains as a 12" disc with clear vinyl surrounding the central image.
Sometimes the image is different of has an error, as it is purely produced as a test, this copy has the tip of the point missing but this happend at the time of pressing.
ConditionThe clear vinyl has some minor surface marks mainly from being stored for many years in a plain paper sleeve. Early 1980s picture discs are known for having an issue with tea staining, this copy shows little discolouration and is still clear
These rarely appear for sale, so finding in any condition is a bonus.
