The labels are the legendary black and yellow Parlophone design used on most of the UK Beatles originals until 'The Beatles' (White Album)
This design has the perimeter text that begins 'The Gramophone Co Ltd'. Across the centre of the label the text 'Sold in The UK Subject to Resale Price Conditions' is present.
The labels are free from writing, stickers, tears or any other blemishes. There is no real sign of spindlemarks around the centre hole.
The silver text of the tracklisting is clear and bright, the yellow of 'Parlophone' is striking.
The matrix numbers in the run out groove are
YEX 178-2
YEX 179-2
Aside from the faintest cosmetic marks visible under a strong light, the vinyl is in beautiful near mint condition, retaining a 'just pressed' shine that usually deteriorates with play.
The original 'Use Emitex' poly lined inner shows only the lightest signs of age.
The sleeve is in amazing condition. It is front laminated with rear flipbacks. The front of the sleeve has crisp clean laminate with no obvious signs of creasing. The edges are clean and undamaged with no signs of common shelfwear. The unlaminated rear of the sleeve, is so often found in poor condition, stained, written on, discoloured - not so with this copy, it is WHITE. As clean as the day it was bought over 55(!) years ago.
A Near Mint stereo copy with no need to ever upgrade! When will you see another?
