THE INDO-BRITISH ENSEMBLE Curried Jazz (1969 UK 4-track
stereo LP, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. Composed,
arranged & conducted by Victor Graham, starring Dev Kumar
on sitar, Chris Karan on tabla, Sitara on tamboura, flautist Ray
Swinfield & Kenny Wheeler on flugelhorn, a fantastic blend of
jazz improvisation with Indian raga, following the influence of
Ravi Shankar on the UK at the time & the success of Joe
Harriott's series of Indo Jazz Suite Fusions with John Mayer.
The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl looks
