(Super rare limited edition 1986 Japanese 22-LP vinyl
set, representing every recorded note from 1955-61 for
Riverside, running chronologically & including exclusive
previously-unheard recordings. Two booklets also provide
'sessionography' notes & helpful annotations by Monk's
producer during this era, Orrin Keepnew. Housed in a deluxe 12"
square slipcase with fancy embossed titles & obi, this is a tome of
sheer genius!The case and one of the inner cases show a little
light shelfwear, and the obi shows a little light wear, but is
complete and intact. The all-important vinyl looks barely played!
