LARRY YOUNG Testifying (Rare 1961 US mono 7-track vinyl LP on a deep groove purple 'New Jazz' label with 'RVG' [Rudy Van Gelder] in the run-outs, pasted picture sleeve. Classic hard bop and the debut release from organist/band leader Larry Young with Thornel Schwartz [guitar], Jimmie Smith [drums] and Joe Holiday [tenor sax]. The sleeve is Excellent with just a little discolouration to the rear panel, the vinyl too is a strong VG with some faint hairlines visible that have little effect on play - the forst copy we've ever seen too!)
