PINK FLOYD Live At Pompeii (Scarce 1989 UK 10-track PAL Laserdisc, featuring Adrian Maben’s legendary film of Pink Floyd performing live in the haunting, empty ruins of the Roman amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy, during October 1971. This atmospheric recording captures the band at the height of their early-’70s creativity, with stunning extended versions of Echoes, Careful With That Axe Eugene, A Saucerful Of Secrets and more, interspersed with striking visual sequences.
The disc comeshoused in its glossy custom picture sleeve, which remains in outstanding condition, still retaining its original open shrinkwrap with minimal signs of age or handling. Sadly, this example has suffered from disc corruption while in storage, rendering it unplayable, and is therefore offered as a display-only item.
Nevertheless, the sleeve presents beautifully and would make an excellent addition to any Pink Floyd collection, or a striking piece for display when framed!)
