BAND OF JOY Band Of Joy (1978 UK 9-track vinyl LP - The band were formed in the 1960s with the original line-up featuring Robert Plant and John Bonham, yet while that line-up relied on its live reputation to become a legend, a revised Band OfJoy finally made it to the studio in the late 1970s, having re-grouped to play benefit gigs with their old singer for the families of a local band involved in a fatal motorway crash. The gigs didn't happen as planned, but this album on Polydorwas followed by a barely-released second, both of which stand as undiscovered gems. The picture sleeve shows some light edge scuffing and spine wear, but also comes complete with its lyric insert and the vinyl looks barely played)
