CHIC Le Freak (2019 UK/EU limited edition 2-track 12" vinyl
single released exclusively for Record Store Day,
including the Oliver Heldens Extended Mix plus a 2018
remastered version of the original 1978 classic 12" Mix.
Housed inside ahype-stickerd and RSD stickered die-cut
sleeve replicating an original Atlantic/Atco DISCO cover and
pink card inner. The sleeve shows only light shelfwear and the
vinyl reveals minimal signs of play and storage wear.

Le Freak was Chic’s third single and their first single to hit #1 on the Billboard Top 100 in the US. It went on to become Atlantic Records' biggest selling single. It also garnered international success charting at #1 in Australia, Canada, New Zealand & South Africa. And in the top #10 in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. To celebrate the 40th anniversary year we will release a 12” featuring the 2018 Oliver Heldens Remix (on vinyl for the first time) and the 1978 original 12” vocal mix. On standard 12” black vinyl, in an Atlantic sleeve. Limited to 5500 copies worldwide.
