JOHN COLTRANE The Heavyweight Champion: The Complete Atlantic Recordings (1995 German/European 87-track digitally remastered SEVEN CD box set featuring every master Coltrane recorded for Atlantic Records between 1959 & 1961, arguably Trane's most inspired years & some of the most forward-thinking in jazz history. Six of the discs come housed in digipak picture sleeves & Disc 7 is housed in a clamshell box designed to replicate the original tape reel, complete with a 72-pagehardback book, all kept nicely in a 6" x 5½" x 3½" picture box with inside tray holder. The packaging is Excellent with some faint shelf wear & the discs are Near Mint)
