The new stereo mix and revealing outtakes chart the complete creativeprocess, from the earliest home demos recorded at Tittenhurst Park to the final studio versions produced with Phil Spector. Originally released in 1971, Imagine expanded upon the introspective starkness of Plastic Ono Band with richer arrangements and a more universal message. The title track has since become one of the most beloved and enduring anthems in modern music, and the album itself remains Lennon's most celebrated solo work. Included in this 2LP package are 12 outtake versions that provide a rare insight into Lennon's working process-raw, honest, and deeply human.
