ORIGINAL CAST RECORDING Pieces Of Eight (1959 UK 14-track mono LP featuring the Original London Cast of the review as performed at the Apollo Theatre on September 23rd 1959, starring Kenneth Williams & Fenella Fielding, with sketches written by the twenty one year old budding comedy genius that was Peter Cook, with other material from such as Harold Pinter, Laurie Johnson and Sandy Wilson, front laminated scalloped flipback picture sleeve. This represented a high point for Revue, whenliteracy and wit ruled, and the art of the surreal thrived. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play LK4337)
