TRACKLISTING AND EXTRA INFORMATION
The Beatles Book (the monthly magazine of the Official Beatles Fan Club) was first published in August 1963 and continued for 77 editions until it ceased publication after the December 1969 issue.
Alongside the staples of the '60s fan magazine (readers' letters, pen pal listings, song lyrics, editorials etc), the Beatles Book featured hundreds of exclusive photographs by staff photographer Leslie Bryce, and articles by members of the band's inner circle including Neil Aspinall and Mal Evans.
In May 1976, inspired by EMI's reissue campaign for the Beatles' 22 UK single releases, publisher Sean O'Mahony revived the magazine and republished all 77 original issues in between eight (later sixteen) pages of new Beatles news and articles written by the likes of Tony Barrow and Mark Lewisohn.
The final reprint appeared in September 1982, but with the twentieth anniversary of the release of Love Me Do in the offing it was decided to continue publication with all new content. The magazine was then published until January 2003 (Issue 320).
