WRITING ON THE WALL The Power Of The Picts (Ultra rare
1969 first French issue 9-track vinyl LP on the aqua blue Pop
Music label, unique fully laminated picture sleeve variant.
This was the debut album by the legendary Scottish heavy
rockers,who made it big on the underground rock scene in
the late sixties through a highly dramatic stage act. The
Middle Earth club launched a label with this maniacal rock
band as lead off act! Licensed to French label 'Pop Music' [it
definitely ain't pop!] this issue features a slighty amended
sleeve with 'Middle Earth', 'Pop Music' and 'Collection Loisirs'

Aside from a faint pen annotation along the top edge [it belonged to a former French music industry executive] the sleeve is Near Mint with NO edge scuffing, crisp, clean laminate and sharp pinched spine. Superb.
Vinyl Condition:
The vinyl too grades Near Mint with just some very faint blemishes visible if held under strong light, clean labels [not a trace of spindle wear] - a top copy!
