JAMES BROWN The Payback (Circa 1997 US limited edition 8-track double album 2-LP [with a ridge visible closer to the spinehole unlike earlier copies and Rainbo S-numbers in the runouts] - Originally released in 1973 and scheduled as the soundtrack to the blaxploitation movie 'Hell Up In Harlem' [but bizarrely rejected by the director as 'not James Brown enough'], this is now considered a high point in Brown's career and a landmark funk album. The glossy gatefold picture sleeve [which does display a 'questionable' print quality but still official Polydor pressing], the two vinyl discs look barely played)
